Price and warranty
$29 diagnostic fee, taken off the repair price if you go ahead. After diagnosing it we email a quote with parts, labor and (for mail-in) insured return shipping. Nothing is repaired without your OK, and repairs carry a 90-day warranty on the part replaced and the work done. Mail it in from anywhere in the US, or drop it off in Lansing, MI by appointment.
Shipping a desktop
If you ship one, use a strong box with plenty of padding and don’t open it to remove anything. Our packing guide has the details.
Questions
My PC won’t turn on. Can you fix it?+
Often, yes. A failed power supply is a common cause and can be replaced. We find the cause during the $29 diagnosis and quote before any work.
Can you upgrade my PC to an SSD?+
Yes. We fit an SSD, reinstall Windows or move your existing system, and transfer your files.
Why is my desktop so loud and hot?+
Usually dust and old thermal paste. We clean it, replace worn fans if needed and apply new thermal paste.
Should I ship or drop off a desktop?+
Drop-off in Lansing is easier and safer for heavy desktops. If you ship, pack it well and keep everything inside the case.
